The Photographer

Im a Mother, a Wife, a Daughter, and a Friend. I find joy and beauty in being each and every one of those titles.

I fell in love with photography a long time ago. It started out simply being the girl that always had the camera. Family functions, vacations, celebrations, hanging out with friends, holidays, even just a random Tuesday. There was just something about knowing that I was preserving a moment in time. A memory to never be discarded. It wasn’t long before I knew what I wanted to be. I begin searching the web to learn everything I could about the art. I read books, attended online workshops, talked with photographers, and practiced everyday. After a few months, my husband bought me a new camera, put his hand on my back and pushed me face first into making my dream a reality.

I still have a long way to go. I still have a lot to learn. But I am a Photographer. A title I am honored to carry! I have put my heart, soul, blood, sweat and tears into building my business. I’ve chased away doubt and stood up to fears. I will continue to do so each and every day that God gives me. I am thankful for the many friends and family members that have supported me along the way, never allowing me to give up hope.

I don’t expect to ever be famous. I can only hope to continue to grow. To continue to wake up each day and do something I love. To build upon my experience. To be creative. And to capture precious, beautiful, little moments in time.
